I thought it would be fun to do a guestbook for those who come and visit my little corner of the world. It would be fun to hear from you, would you sign my guestbook? ~Shyloh~

When everything falls apart

Be sure to turn off my playlist before watching this video.

Fee - Everything Falls
From the album Hope Rising

You said
You'd never leave or forsake me
When you said,
This life is gonna shake me
You said
This world is gonna bring trouble on my soul
This I know

When everything falls apart
Your arms hold me together
When everything falls apart
You're the only hope for this heart
When everything falls apart
And my strength is gone
I find you mighty and strong
You keep holding on
You keep holding on

When I see
The darkness all around me
When I see
The tragedy has found me
I still believe
Your faithful arms will never let me go
And still I know

When everything falls apart
Your arms hold me together
When everything falls apart
You're the only hope for this heart
When everything falls apart
And my strength is gone
I find you mighty and strong
You keep holding on
You keep holding on

Sorrow may last for the night
But hope is rising with the sun
Its rising with the sun
There will be storms in this life
But I know You will overcome

When everything falls apart
Your arms hold me together
When everything falls apart
You're the only hope for this heart
When everything falls apart
And my strength is gone
I find You mighty and strong
You keep holding on

When everything falls apart
Your arms hold me together
When everything falls apart
You're the only hope for this heart
When everything falls apart
And my strength is gone
I find You mighty and strong
You keep holding on
You keep holding on

Multitude Monday

In spite of everything that is going on in my life right now, I have so much to be grateful for. I'm going to steal an idea from my mom's blog. (she was inspired by a blog that she reads faithfully. The link to the blog is at the end of this post, I encourage you to check it out.) I think it's a really neat idea, it forces you to stop in your busy life and note the things we have to be grateful for. I'm going to try to do this every Monday. (Hence the "Multitude Monday" title.) I'm only going to lists 10 things every Monday. Some of them may be goofy, others more serious. But every week I'm just going to note 1o things I'm grateful for in my life. I'm going to keep count every week, my goal is to make it to 1000 things I'm grateful for in my life.

Here we go...

1. A God who's plan for my life is bigger than that which I can see

2. my big dopey puppy, Maycie

3. my family's sad sounding rendition of 'Happy Birthday'

4. bible verses that come at a perfect time in your life

5. a family who lets me come over every night to eat their food and sleep on their couch :)

6. dairy queen blizards

7. packages in the mail

8. sunshine

9. quiet background worship music

10. baby sisters

11 weeks

Today i'm 11 weeks. :) Baby Bauman is about 2 inches long...the same length of a sugar packet:
And he weighs the same as two sugar packets...lol, so it's not very heavy.

This week the baby's taste buds are beginning to develop.
The baby can swallow and stick out its tongue.
It's cartilage is now calcifying and becoming it's tiny bones.
The heart is almost completely developed.
Its eye lids have fused shut and won't open again until 27 weeks.
It's wrists and ankles have formed and all of it's little fingers and toes are clearly visible.
This week his little ears are moving to their permanent place.
It's reproductive organs are developing this week.

Guess what???

First there was him...

Then there was me...

Then our love grew...

and now there is three!

Yep it's true! Baby Bauman will be here in time for the holidays! :-)

I'm 10 weeks along, I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. :-)

Right now my baby is the size of a Brazil nut:

This week my baby's winged hands and feet split and now it has tiny little fingers and toes.

Tooth buds are forming--tho it won't get teeth for a loooooonnnnnggggg time.

Its kidneys are now creating tons of urine.

The most critical part of my baby's development has completed.

From here on out, his growth will be very rapid.

It's eye color was determined this week :-)

Kinda creepy looking, huh?

Jeff's pancakes

My hubby loves breakfast, like a lot. He never misses his morning meal, and anytime we go out to dinner, he usually buys some type of breakfasty item. I however really don't like breakfast food items and try to stay away from that genre of food. Because I don't eat breakfast, Jeff usually fends for himself in the mornings. Most of the time he just has cereal or pastry type foods, but sometimes he actually cooks something yummy.

With that said, I've got a cute Jeff story to share today...
The other day we had woken up and started our day. Jeff usually eats breakfast within 15 minutes of getting up. Before we had even gotten out of bed, he says "Pancakes sound really yummy. I'm going to make some, would you like any?" I said no, of course, and told him to half the recipe. (we use a mix, by the way.) He headed out to the kitchen to begin.

A few minutes later he came back into the room to ask about halving the recipe. I answered his question, and he headed back out. I finished what I was doing in the room and headed out to the kitchen about 15 minutes later. By now, he had the pancakes cooking on the stove.

He says, "I accidentally used a whole cup of milk instead of a half."

I said, "oh bummer, well, you'll have to make the whole recipe now."

He says, "We're out of pancake mix."

I said, "Ooooh...big bummer. Well you'll just have to eat flat pancakes then." (not noticing the beautiful fluffy pancakes he's already got made.)

He says, "Well, it was really runny, so I looked through the cupboards to see if we had anything I could substitute. The only thing I found was that box of Jiffy White Cake Mix. It was the same consistency and texture, so I used a cup of that."

Me... "EEEEEEEWWWWW!!! GROSS!!!"

Lemme just say, these pancakes were horrible tasting. They tasted exactly like a white cake!! Jeff thought they were delicious though, so as long as he liked them...so be it, lol. The worst part of the whole story though, is he still poured syrup on them! YUCK! that's like using syrup on a cake! I told him he should have ate them plain with a scoop of ice cream. hahahaha...

However, as nasty as they were...and as gross as it was to watch him eat his tiny round syrup covered cakes, I did think his thinking was cute. After all, it was the same consistency and texture. :-)

T-Shirts!!

Last year my mom made the whole family baseball t-shirts for the beginning of baseball season. We all wore them faithfully throughout the year. We decided to make this a yearly tradition.

These are last year's t-shirts:
The backs of them displayed our names and our baseball logo.

These are this year's t-shirts:
The backs are very much the same as last years,
they have our names and a new designed logo on them.
