Lately Jeff and I have been playing a lot of Chinese Checkers. The other night he complained that I always played with one color, and he asked why. I told him it was my lucky color. He was confused, "Lucky color?" "Sure," I said. "Everyone who plays this game should have a lucky color. Without their lucky color, they're more apt to lose." He said, "oh. So that 's why you've been winning every game." I said, "No, I've been winning every game because you don't have a lucky color. Which means, you don't even have a chance." He asked how to find your lucky color, and I told him, "Just play with the various colors until you win with one...then stick with it!!" So he started to play with different colors.
Finally he found his lucky color:
My lucky color is the light blue:
At one point in our playing, he dared me to "Mix things up a bit" and play with a different color, because he doubted my whole theory on the "lucky colors." So I played a round with the dark blue. ....Lets just say dark blue isn't my lucky color and Jeff now believes that the lucky color idea is true.
Disclaimer:I am more joking about this than I am serious! I'm not a superstitious person! Nor do I believe in luck :)
