97 cent soap

A few weeks ago, I received a bunch of coupons advertising new products that were coming out. One of the coupons was a "Free Soap" coupon. It was only good for the month of August and the product didn't come out until August 1st. I was so excited about this, as "Free" is my favorite word, that I clipped the coupon and put it on my fridge.

Several times over the past few days (since august 1st) I've checked Walmart repeatedly for this soap. Finally, the other night...I found it!!

My meeting with my free soap wasn't as romantic or memorable as I had dreamed.

Instead, I feel cheated and robbed. :'-(

First off, Walmart only had one scent. And it was plain. Orriginal. Soap scented. Bleh.

Secondly, after I took it to the check out stand, the gal rang me up and I realized...the soap only cost 97 cents. What?!? 97 CENTS??? I thought I was getting such a bargain. Such a deal!! Saving so much money!!!!

But noo...Not my luck.

Ha, I could have made more money by ebaying the coupon that I did by getting that stupid free soap.

Here is me, pretending to be in love with my new free soap.
