I thought it would be fun to do a guestbook for those who come and visit my little corner of the world. It would be fun to hear from you, would you sign my guestbook?

Finally a minute of free time...
To those who faithfully read my blog: I am so sorry I've been so bad at posting lately!! I've had a really busy few days. I finally have a moment of free time, I'm going to try to quickly blog about what's been going on lately. Bear with me, I'm not in the mood to blog right now.
This past week, I've worked an odd shift of hours. I worked four half days in a row. It worked out nicely, I didn't get too tired or burned out, but I still made a decent pay check. This week however, will be different. I work tomorrow, but only for a few hours. Then on Wednesday I have a really really long day! On Wednesday I'm going to be working a 10-12 hour day. I am going to come home so exhausted!! I think I also have to work Thursday and possibly Friday. But I'm not sure about that yet...I usually find out definite hours or work days with only 12-48 hours ahead of time.
So...a quick update on life lately...
On Friday I worked for a few hours. I pretty much only cleaned and watched Hudson and Addie. I got off work around 2:00 and headed home. I had company over that evening, so I spent the next several hours cleaning the house and getting dinner ready. That night we had a bonfire and roasted marshmallows. It was a ton of fun!! The boys only stayed up until around 8:00, then they headed off to bed. Us bigger people had ice cream, then the girls went to bed around 9:00. The whole evening was an absolute blast! We didn't go to bed that night until around 1:00am.
On Saturday we were supposed to do chores. However, I didn't get much done, as I was really lazy and loafed around all day. That evening a girl from the college and career group texted me and invited me to a bonfire that she was having at her house that night. I didn't want to go, but my dad made me go (something I'm really grateful of now!). Another friend ended up going, and it was a lot of fun hanging out with him. There was home made ice cream (which was amazing!) and their bonfire was enormous!! We all ended up playing the "I've never game" but the musical chair version...it was so much fun! It's amazing how much you learn about people while playing that game! I got home around 11:00 that night and ended up staying awake until past 12:00 playing on the computer and talking with my parents.
On Sunday morning, I got up at 6:30 to go to the 1st service. I managed to stay awake through the service (which was really hard, having had several late nights prior to this) and after 1st service, I stayed and hung out for a while. I had planned on running a few errands during 2nd service (which my family attended) but ended up helping out in the 1st grade instead. That afternoon a friend came over for about 45 minutes to eat pizza with us and hang out for a while. Even though it was a super short visit, it was a ton of fun! That evening I went back to church. I really struggled through that service! (Don't take me wrong: it was a really good service! I was just super tired!) We ended up staying at church that evening until about 9:00. We hung out in the courtyard and listened to Alyssa Veltkamp sing (great job, Lyss!) and chatted with a friend for a while. When we got home we had ice cream...believe it or not: this was the worst ice cream I've ever had to choke down. It had absolutely no flavor to it, even though it was my favorite flavor of Dryer's. I must have been sick...
I babysat my siblings for a few hours this morning. Then in the afternoon, I did some stuff around the house, and ended up running a few errands for my mom. I also had to go to the bank and fill my gas tank (I get so excited when I get gas! There's something about having a full tank of gas...not many of you would know what this feels like...) This evening I made dinner, we ate dinner, we cleaned up after dinner...and now here I am several hours later.
Like I said, bear with me...I'm not really in a posting mood. I'd try to write more, but I want to go check my e-mails and then get ready to go to bed...
I'll try to be better at posting this week!

You sure write a lot when you aren't in the mood. I write 'maybe'two paragraphs if I'm not in the mood. Sorry you didn't enjoy your ice cream... it's just terrible!
