I hate weddings...

It is 11:00pm on Wednesday night. I am getting married in two days. I've got very little sleep this past week--and won't get much sleep from today til....I don't even know when. My dad, brothers and little sisters are all in bed asleep. My mom, Shelbie, Shaylah and I are still awake. We are all very very tired and extremely cranky. I won't even touch on the subject of how stressed we all are.

We have a list of stuff a miles long to accomplish. I can't figure out how we planned this wedding for months and months and now we're 48 hours away from it finally happening...and we have SO many things to do! This is awful...but I just realized today we didn't have our flower girl baskets. How do you forget that? We haven't gotten ANY beverages yet. I can't even guarantee that I'll have flowers at my wedding. :( The only thing I am sure of is we will definitely have our cakes and icecream.

Urg...

My day tomorrow is insane. Hectic. Crazy. I feel sick just thinking about it.

THANKYOU TO ALL WHO ARE HELPING ME!!!!

I am really hating weddings right now. They are overrated. Vegas would have been 100% easier.

I feel so bad for my mom and sisters. My poor mom is absolutely pooped. Shelbie is exhausted--she's been up since 7:00am cleaning (plus she had to work today!!) she went to work and as soon as she got home, she immediately went back to cleaning.

(btw...we're cleaning cause on Saturday we are having a bbq for family...)

Shaylah is standing in the middle of our playroom with her unhemmed dress on. My mom is laying on the floor with pins in her mouth ready to start crying. (Why didn't we just have it hemmed weeks ago???...now we're regretting our decision...)

We are out of printer ink and I have about 800 pages of paper that I need to print up. I am feeling very stressed about that...

A few hours ago, my sweet dad could sensing our stress, pulled out the ice cream. I am convinced that ice cream is therapeutical...we all needed it.

Hmmm...two more minutes and I can officially think "I'm getting married tomorrow..."

Please keep us all in your prayers. Pray that we get all of our stuff done. Keep calm. And keep God in the center of all of our planning.

I picked my cake flavors today! We went to Costco to order them this afternoon. After getting there, however, we realized there were too many choices and options, so we took the papers home and I pondered them and stewed over them for about an hour before fully deciding my flavors. Woo Hoo! I'm so glad I got this done. :)

Here are my flavors....

#2...White cake with Vanilla cream filling and cream cheese frosting
#3...White cake with Chocolate filling and Chocolate frosting
#4...White cake with Strawberry filling and Vanilla Buttercream frosting

We only have 10 days to go!! Oh my goodness! lol, it feels like just yesterday that Jeff and I were complaining that it seemed so far away. Everyone told us "It'll go so fast." We didn't believe them back then...but now, we agree. Where has the time gone?




I'm starting to stress, lol. I haven't gotten all my songs together. I haven't emailed Kathy my helper list. :-/ I haven't ordered my cakes, haven't ordered my flowers, haven't written our vows. ect. ect. YIKES! The worse part is, there is so much to do--but I'm feeling overwhelmed and can't think of where to even start.





I can't remember who offered to help me make cookies. So, lol, I'm starting over. Is anyone interested in making any?





I need five different types...


Chocolate Chip, Sugar, P-nut butter, Oatmeal and Snickerdoodle.





I need each recipe tripled.





And also, wedding helpers. I'm still short by I think...ten. If any of you (who already offered to help) has any friends, siblings or cousins who might be interested in helping...please let me know!



And lastly...I need aboub 3o songs for our reception. I'd like them to be love songs, but can not come up with 30 myself. Does anyone have any suggestions?
